What's this all about?

Medusa, the original psycho chick

Here's the truth. And I think it's pretty much the truth for everyone. We may not all be looking for the happily ever after, but we all are seeking something...something that makes us feel like life might be more than just a random arrangement of matter. Someone or something to connect with. Some people find that connection through friendship, some people find it through God, some of us through our work, but most of us look for it in the impossible...romance. And that’s where things get messy.

I’m collecting stories from my friends about the crazy things that love has made them do (and I’ll be adding a few stories of my own!). If you have a story, let me know. The entries will be completely anonymous. I’ll also spotlight a famous psycho chick every week (that's my goal at least). Stay tuned for updates.

So why psycho chicks? I think we beat ourselves up over the crazy things we do, instead of embracing the passion that makes us do those crazy things. I'm tired of women being vilified for showing their feelings and speaking out when they're upset. I'll write more on this in my next post. But for now, go ahead and act crazy.  Yell at that stranger who cut you off in traffic.  Get mad at your husband for taking you for granted.  Embrace your inner psycho chick!
